The Senior Deputy Director of State Operations and Strategic Planning in the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the DMVA and coordinating activities between the Department and other agencies, the legislature, congress, industry, and other partners. This includes the development of programs, policies, and strategies for enhancing the Department’s relationships, for communicating the Department’s goals, and meeting all state legislative requirements. As Chief of Staff, this position will advise and assist the Senior Deputy Director in all areas of responsibility.

Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience
Two years of professional, P11-level experience or one year of professional 12-level experience as a senior-level worker, a manager, or a staff/program specialist (includes administrative assistant) or equivalent.
