Job summary

Cincinnatus LLC is seeking advanced Excel experts with finance discipline to join our GenAI initiative. You will design and evaluate Excel-based tasks for training AI models, applying three-statement modeling, LBO/DCF, and forecasting in PE, IB, hedge funds, or equity research.

This W-2 role places you at a leading technology company through our extended workforce, with 40 hours per week through September and 20 hours thereafter.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated advanced, professional-level Excel expertise, including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays.
• Experience applying Excel in finance domains: PE, IB, hedge funds, or equity research, including three-statement models, LBO/DCF, valuation and forecasting.
• Career progression in the field.
• Experience in AI training, data annotation, or model evaluation is a strong plus.
• Ability to engage reliably for 40 hours/week during weekdays through the end of September, then 20 hours/week thereafter.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• United States–based only.

Responsibilities

• Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance on Excel-based tasks within finance.
• Design realistic, domain-relevant Excel tasks drawn from your professional experience, and write accurate, well-structured solutions.
• Evaluate Excel tasks and solutions and provide clear, written feedback.
• Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data.
