Job summary

Lockheed Martin RMS is seeking a mid-career Electronic Warfare Software Engineer to join our team in Syracuse, NY. You will integrate EW algorithms into C++ applications, collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines, and help deliver high‑impact solutions for defense programs.

This role requires a BS or higher in CS/CE, 3+ years of experience, strong C++ skills, OOA/OOD, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent.
• Experience in software development in C++
• Experience with OOA/OOD design and implementation
• Experience in debugging, unit testing, and integration testing
• Experience working with a team, as well as independently
• The ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance required - US citizenship

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and program personnel to develop and support Electronic Warfare systems.
• Integrate Electronic Warfare algorithms into C++ applications for both existing and new development applications.
• Perform technical reviews, optimize algorithms and conduct experiments to ensure functionality and performance.
• Ensure program specific software standards are met.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and tools.
