Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking an experienced Electronic Warfare Software Engineer to join a specialized RMS team in Syracuse, NY. You will integrate EW algorithms into C++ applications and collaborate across disciplines to tackle challenging problems with modern tools and agile practices.

You will review algorithms, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with software standards while staying current with evolving EW technologies and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Electronic Warfare techniques and algorithms.
• Proficient software development skills in C++.
• Experience with OOA/OOD design and implementation.
• Experience in debugging, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Experience working with a team, as well as independently.
• The ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance required - US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and program personnel to develop and support Electronic Warfare systems.
• Integrate Electronic Warfare algorithms into C++ applications for both existing and new development applications.
• Perform technical reviews, optimize algorithms and conduct experiments to ensure the functionality and performance of products or solutions.
• Ensure program specific software standards are met.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and tools.
