Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Control Account Manager in Tucson, AZ to lead EVMS-based cost and schedule control. You’ll manage planning, execution, and closure of control accounts, and partner with engineering to validate task completion criteria.

You will monitor performance, craft BOEs and BCRs, analyze variances, and present insights to program leadership. This onsite role includes relocation support and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience, or 5+ years with an advanced degree.
• Experience managing technical work, cost accounts, or engineering tasks in a structured program.
• Experience with EVMS principles and tools.
• Experience with schedule management, budgeting, and program documentation.
• Ability to present performance data to program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned control accounts from planning through execution and closure.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define completion criteria for technical tasks.
• Monitor progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain control account plans, budgets, schedules, and work authorizations.
• Analyze performance data and risks to provide cost and schedule insights.
• Prepare control account performance updates for reviews and leadership forums.
• Coordinate across functions to manage dependencies and interfaces.
• Generate BOEs, BCRs, and other cost/schedule artifacts.
• Ensure EVMS compliance and support audits.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field
