Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in Client Engagement and Events Strategy concepts with 5+ years applied experience.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5 years of event or sponsorship management; experience with founders, investors, startups, or high-growth companies.
• Executive presence with polished professional demeanor in high-visibility, client-facing environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail and organizational discipline.
• Willingness to travel ~20–25% and support off-hours execution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead event strategist for a portfolio of Innovation Economy client events and sponsorships.
• Partner with stakeholders to manage full event lifecycle: agenda, content, speakers, research, and on-site execution.
• Drive planning sessions, maintain budgets, and manage attendee communications end-to-end.
• Collaborate with Event Production on logistics, production workstreams, and vendor relationships.
• Build project plans, operational docs, and collateral from kickoff through closeout.
• Maintain attendee data across CRM and registration platforms; analyze attendance trends.
