Job summary

Legends Global, located in Miami, is seeking a Sales and Events Manager to lead active solicitation in association and trade show markets. You will liaise with venue personnel, CVBs, and clients to represent Legends Global and ensure client needs are met.

Represent the facility at regional and national trade shows, prepare bids, and manage rental agreements. The role requires superb communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and some nights/weekends as Manager on Duty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or preferred in a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years sales-related experience required.
• Facility/industry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for active solicitation of the association and trade show markets.
• Act as a liaison with building personnel, CVB's clients, etc. to represent Legends Global and assure client's needs are met.
• Represent the facility in all industry-related Trade regional and national tradeshows.
• Prepare bid proposals and follow through on pending bookings.
• Prepare and assure compliance with all rental agreements.
• Handle pre-event correspondence and meetings until the account can be turned over to Operations team.
• Execute sales action plans for assigned markets and accounts in support of established facility sales goals.
• Maintain and update facility booking calendar.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• High aptitude for figures and advanced writing skills
• Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic
• Acts as Manager on Duty as required. Some nights and weekends.
