Legends Global is seeking a Sales and Events Manager for the James L. Knight Center in Miami, FL. The role focuses on soliciting association and trade show markets, coordinating with CVBs and clients, and representing the facility at regional and national tradeshows.

You will prepare bids and ensure rental agreement compliance. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of sales experience in the facility/venue industry, with strong communication, organizational, and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years sales related experience required.
• Facility/industry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison with building personnel, CVB’s clients, etc. to represent Legends Global and assure client’s needs are met.
• Represent the facility in all industry-related Trade regional and national tradeshows.
• Prepare bid proposals and follow through on pending bookings.
• Prepare and assure compliance with all rental agreements.
• Handle pre-event correspondence and meetings until the account can be turned over to Operations team.
• Execute sales action plans for assigned markets and accounts in support of established facility sales goals.
• Maintain and update facility booking calendar.
• Acts as Manager on Duty as required. Some nights and weekends.
