Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Event Technology to architect and build next-generation attendee platforms at scale, impacting millions of users across flagship events and digital experiences.

The ideal candidate will be a true full-stack engineer with strong back-end API development and frontend capabilities, comfortable designing resilient distributed systems, and leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining security and reliability.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional software development experience in production environments.
Proven experience with AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
Expertise in TypeScript, React, Next.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, and distributed systems.
Experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
Experience building component libraries and micro frontends.
Strong knowledge of web performance, security, CI/CD, testing, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

Architect and build scalable event attendee platforms across frontend and backend stacks.
Develop performant frontend experiences with TypeScript and React, ensuring accessibility and cross-browser support.
Design and implement robust backend APIs and services on cloud-native architectures.
Create micro frontend components for multi-platform deployment.
Optimize end-to-end data flows from database to UI rendering.
Mentor engineers and drive architectural decisions across projects.
Maintain code quality, performance, security, and reliability across the SDLC.
