Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Event Technology to architect and build next-generation event attendee platforms, capable of serving millions of attendees across flagship events and digital experiences. You will own both backend services and frontend components, with a focus on scalable, cloud-native delivery and AI-enabled features.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional software development experience with full-stack capabilities in production environments.
Experience with AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery.
Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js with modern JavaScript and responsive web design.
API design (RESTful and GraphQL), microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
Experience with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, AppSync, API Gateway) and cloud infrastructure.
Building component libraries, design systems, and micro frontend architectures.
Strong web performance optimization and security best practices, with CI/CD, testing, monitoring.

Responsibilities

Architect and build next-generation event attendee platforms aligned to Future State Architecture.
Design and implement scalable backend APIs and micro frontend components across platforms.
Architect and optimize end-to-end data flows from database design to UI rendering.
Mentor engineers and drive architectural decisions with cross-functional teams.
