Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Event Technology to architect and build next-generation attendee platforms. You’ll own frontend and backend development, deliver AI-enabled features, and craft resilient distributed systems.

You’ll work across the full stack, design scalable APIs, build component libraries, and mentor teammates, contributing to production-ready experiences for flagship events and digital initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience in production environments.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery.
• Expertise in TypeScript, React, and Next.js with modern JavaScript and responsive web design.
• Development expertise including API design (RESTful and GraphQL), microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, AppSync, API Gateway) and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Use AI-powered development tools and automation to accelerate feature delivery, improve code quality, and rapidly prototype solutions.
• Build performant frontend experiences using TypeScript and React, with attention to component architecture and accessibility.
• Design and implement scalable backend APIs and services on cloud-native architectures for millions of event attendees.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, architectural guidance, and learning sessions.
