Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in high-volume sales or event management.
• Proactive prioritization and ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
• Creative and resourceful with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts to changing priorities.
• Ability to evaluate risks and liabilities of special events and venue rentals.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual sales and marketing plans to maximize revenue for private and special events at CPKC Stadium.
• Build market awareness and drive leads through strategic sales campaigns; stay up-to-date on market trends and venue offerings.
• Partner with leadership and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop cross-promotional programs to maximize event revenue year-round.
• Oversee the execution of high-profile and large-scale events, including reviewing contracts and payment terms.
• Ensure smooth transition of event logistics and client expectations to KC Current Event Operations team.
• Update pricing models, refine packages, and adjust revenue projections as required.
• Responsible for daily revenue tracking, campaign management, and communicating sales performance.
• Maintain open communications with third-party food/beverage operator and stadium operations.
• Organize documents for RFPs and assist in completing bid requirements with local sports commission and tourism partners.
• Establish SOPs for Event Sales including budgeting, forecasting, cost of goods, profitability, contracts, and invoicing.
• Manage monthly and annual event calendar with Stadium Operations staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
