Clutch is seeking a Senior Event Manager to lead a high-profile live event in Florida as a freelance/contract engagement. The role necessitates strong leadership across client, agency teams, and vendors with on-site presence in Florida from January 31 to February 5.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in event management for corporate events, tradeshows, or large-scale productions, excellent organization, and polished communication. Flexible pre-planning hours in November and December are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of event management experience within the tradeshow, experiential, or live-event industry.
• Extensive background managing corporate events, trade shows, and/or complex live productions.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple moving parts and demanding schedules.
• Polished communication and client-facing presence, comfortable interacting directly with senior executives and external partners.
• Must be available for flexible part-time hours in November and December, heavy hours in January, and travel for the on-site event in Florida from January 31 to February 5.

Responsibilities

• Cross-Functional & Client Liaison: Act as a key communication link across the client, agency team, production partners, and third-party vendors, coordinating project workflows, timelines, and deliverables.
• Operational Execution: Manage the daily tactical activities of the program, ensuring every event component remains strictly on schedule from pre-production through live on-site execution and final post-event reconciliation.
• Vendor & Production Coordination: Align internal teams and external partners to manage production schedules, vendor deliverables, and on-site logistics seamlessly.
