Job summary

ACE Scholarships is seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead nationwide donor, fundraising, and organizational events from planning through post-event evaluation. The role oversees large conferences, galas, and luncheons with multistage logistics, budgets, and stakeholder relations.

The ideal candidate manages complex logistics, collaborates with leaders, and delivers high-impact experiences aligned with ACE’s mission. Denver-area, in-office role with travel and some after-hours work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional event planning, production, or operations experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading events with 200+ attendees; 1,000+ attendees preferred.
• Proven experience managing fundraising gala, donor events, conferences, or similar large-scale experiences.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of board meetings, donor receptions, fundraising events, conferences, and trade shows nationwide.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, agendas, production schedules, staffing, and run‑of‑show documents.
• Own all event logistics: venue, registration, catering, AV, transportation, seating, and attendee experience.
• Serve as primary contact for venues, vendors, sponsors, board members, and donors; manage on-site execution.
• Monitor budgets, track expenses, reconcile post-event budgets, and report outcomes.
• Collaborate with leadership to set goals and ensure fundraising and donor engagement success.
