Job summary

Encore Global in Sacramento is seeking a Technical Lead to oversee the setup and operation of audiovisual systems in hospitality environments, ensuring guest satisfaction. The role reports to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology.

You will troubleshoot issues, mentor technicians, coordinate with hotel staff, and ensure accurate system entry and invoicing. The position requires 2–3 years in AV and hospitality and a valid driver's license; lifting up to 50 lbs may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 2-3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 2-3+ years of audio-visual experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate Company vehicles.
• External applicants must meet training and certification requirements within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down intermediate AV equipment accurately and timely.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain client relationships on site.
• Mentor and coach other Technicians on Encore’s Delivering World Class Service philosophy.
• Complete system entry and paperwork, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
