Rivian in California is seeking a Functional Safety Integration Engineer to lead safety-critical development across hardware, software, and systems for electric vehicles. You will ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and bridge safety requirements with project execution.

You will coordinate with safety leads, hardware designers, software teams, and external vendors to deliver safety plans, traceability, and verification activities, including FMEA, FMEDA, and DFMEA.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's, master's or PhD in Electrical, Embedded Systems or Software Engineering.
• Experience with FuSa engineering and ISO 26262.
• Knowledge of CAN, SPI, LIN, SENT, FlexRay and safety workflows.
• Experience with requirements tools (JAMA/Doors) and version control (Git, SVN).
• C programming and/or model-based design with Simulink preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure vehicle level safety goals, ASIL levels, HAZARD Analysis and SAFETY requirements.
• Develop hardware/software functional-safety plans with targets and deliverables.
• Bridge safety leads with system, software, hardware and vendors to advance safety work.
• Plan, track and summarize safety test cases, DVPs and coordination with teams.
• Coordinate FMEA, FMEDA, DFMEA, FTA analyses for safety impact.
• Maintain safety case, traceability matrices and audit records.
• Develop FuSa workflows across work-products and cross-functional elements.
• Coordinate traceability between high-level workflows and product-level design.
