Job summary

Lead Vehicle Integration Engineer at Canoo is responsible for architecting, integrating, and validating the low-voltage systems of Canoo’s vehicles, enabling cross-functional collaboration between design, integration, and test teams.

The role requires deep experience in automotive electrical architectures, system bring-up on prototype vehicles, and strong communication skills to drive issues to resolution while maintaining schedules and quality.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering with 7+ years in EE architecture hardware or system design.
• Proficient in creating and reading electrical/wire schematics.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define low voltage system logical and wiring architecture from definition to design to test.
• Develop expertise with all Canoo vehicle electrical systems; provide analysis from simulation and real-life data to meet vehicle targets.
• Collaborate with in-house cross-functional teams to ensure successful electrical integration of all components.
• Perform vehicle troubleshooting, prototype bring-up, electrical modifications, and general testing.
• Develop documentation for automotive electrical systems.
