Job summary

DynaChrg INC is seeking a Senior EV Charging & Energy Systems Engineer to lead the evaluation, onboarding, validation, deployment, and operational support of commercial charging equipment within the EVES platform.

The role focuses on charger hardware/firmware, charging communications, OCPP and CSMS connectivity, interoperability testing, and field deployment; requires hands-on experience with commercial EV charging equipment and field operations across installation to backend communications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
5+ years engineering/technical product experience.
3+ years direct hands-on commercial EV charging (EVSE) experience.
Hands-on with commercial AC Level 2 and/or DC fast-charging equipment.
Experience integrating EVSE with CSMS using OCPP.

Responsibilities

Evaluate commercial AC Level 2 and DC fast-charging equipment for compatibility with the EVES platform.
Lead the onboarding of charger OEMs, models, and firmware releases.
Configure and validate charger communications using OCPP 1.6J and 2.0.1.
Develop and maintain hardware, firmware, and interoperability matrices.
Support charger testing, troubleshooting, and production readiness.
