Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho seeks a Staff or Principal EUV Equipment Engineer to lead performance and reliability of EUV lithography systems. You will drive installations, upgrades, and optimization projects while coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, problem solving, and collaboration to advance next-generation semiconductor technology and equipment health across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 5+ years in semiconductor equipment engineering or related fields.
• Experience troubleshooting complex semiconductor equipment.
• Proven track record leading technically complex projects.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own performance, reliability, and productivity of assigned EUV lithography equipment.
• Lead equipment installations, upgrades, qualifications, maintenance strategies, and improvements.
• Drive improvements in scanner performance, imaging stability, defectivity reduction, contamination control, and recipe optimization.
• Analyze equipment data and establish monitoring systems to improve overlay, focus, source performance, automation, and overall equipment health.
• Provide technical leadership through supplier management, cross-functional collaboration, mentoring, and resolution of complex issues.
