Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Senior/Principal Engineer for FE OCT CPEE Photo EUV Track to lead global track improvements and material efficiency. You will optimize equipment, materials, and processes to boost yield, quality, and cost while partnering with suppliers and internal teams to deliver measurable savings.

The role requires 8+ years in semiconductor manufacturing with photolithography or track experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a track record of cross-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, including photolithography or track systems.
• Experience with photolithography equipment installation, qualification, and high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving skills including data analysis, DOE, or defect reduction methods.
• Experience leading projects across teams or sites with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture, including safe handling of chemicals and materials.
• Lead and maintain global standards for track processes through governance forums and reviews.
• Improve equipment performance by reducing defects and supporting tool qualification and startup activities.
• Drive optimization of EUV materials to improve performance and reduce cost and waste.
• Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Define and implement best known methods and material usage benchmarks.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to scale improvements globally.
• Mentor and share knowledge with other engineers; communicate updates clearly to partners.
