The University of Vermont is seeking a Senior Microsoft EUC Engineer to lead endpoint management within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Intune, Autopilot, Entra/Azure). The role focuses on implementing and supporting modern device management across on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud services, collaborating with faculty and staff to determine needs and priorities.

Qualifications

Five years of systems administration experience in a large Microsoft environment.
Expertise with EUC solutions, including MDM deployment and policy.
Experience with Microsoft Entra services and Office 365 administration.
Strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell.
Experience with AD, GPOs, and Windows Server administration.
Ability to work in a 24x7 data center and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Administer Microsoft infrastructure services across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud.
Support Intune, Entra, Autopilot, Configuration Manager, and Windows Server.
Develop PowerShell scripts to automate maintenance and deployments.
Evaluate and deploy next-gen EUC solutions and manage VDI environments.
Collaborate with stakeholders to determine needs and priorities.
Maintain security posture and respond to threats promptly.
