Job summary

Veriipro is seeking an experienced QA professional to lead ETL and Data Warehouse testing efforts. You will design test strategies, craft complex SQL queries, and validate data across source-to-target systems to ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity.

The role requires 6–8+ years in software testing with strong ETL expertise, collaboration with data engineers and analysts, and mentoring of junior QA staff. Remote-friendly environments may be considered depending on project scope.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software testing with strong ETL and Data Warehouse testing expertise.

• Lead testing activities for ETL processes, data warehouses, and data services.


• Design and execute comprehensive ETL and Data Warehouse test strategies and test cases.


• Develop complex SQL queries to validate data, perform reconciliation, and verify business scenarios.


• Validate data across source and target systems for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and integrity.


• Perform data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation testing.


• Identify, analyze, document, and track data-related defects through resolution.


• Work closely with developers, data engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve data quality and integration issues.


• Validate ETL workflows, data transformations, and data loads across various environments.


• Support end-to-end testing of data services and data warehouse solutions.


• Review requirements and technical specifications to develop effective testing approaches.


• Lead defect triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution activities.

Required Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of experience in software testing, with strong expertise in ETL and Data Warehouse Testing.


• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and complex SQL query development.


• Ability to write SQL queries independently based on business and technical scenarios.


• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data transformation, data mapping, and data validation.


• Experience testing Data Warehouses and data integration solutions.


• Strong knowledge of data reconciliation, source-to-target validation, and data quality testing.


• Experience with defect management and test lifecycle processes.


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Financial Services.


• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data platforms.


• Experience with ETL/data integration tools and modern data warehouse technologies.


• Experience leading QA/testing teams or complex data testing initiatives.


• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
