Job summary

Veriipro is seeking an experienced QA professional to lead ETL and Data Warehouse testing efforts. You will design test strategies, craft complex SQL queries, and validate data across source-to-target systems to ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity.

The role requires 6–8+ years in software testing with strong ETL expertise, collaboration with data engineers and analysts, and mentoring of junior QA staff. Remote-friendly environments may be considered depending on project scope.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software testing with strong ETL and Data Warehouse testing expertise.
• Hands-on SQL development and complex query crafting.
• Ability to translate business requirements into test cases and data validation rules.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, and data validation.
• Experience testing Data Warehouses and data integration solutions.
• Familiarity with data reconciliation, source-to-target validation, and data quality testing.
• Experience with defect management and end-to-end test lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing activities for ETL processes, data warehouses, and data services.
• Design and execute comprehensive ETL/test strategies and test cases.
• Develop complex SQL queries to validate data and reconcile business scenarios.
• Validate data across source and target systems for completeness, accuracy, and integrity.
• Perform data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation testing.
• Identify and track data-related defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and analysts to resolve data quality issues.
• Validate ETL workflows and data loads across environments.
• Support end-to-end testing of data services and warehouse solutions.
• Review requirements to develop effective testing approaches.
• Lead defect triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution activities.
• Mentor QA team members on ETL and SQL testing best practices.
