Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Delivery Lead with deep expertise in ETL testing, data governance, and cloud data platforms.

This role will drive QA delivery for large-scale data initiatives, combining hands-on testing with leadership and stakeholder management.

The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with governance standards while validating data accuracy across AWS and Snowflake environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA delivery across ETL, data warehouse, Snowflake, and AWS-based data projects to ensure high data accuracy and reliability.
• Define and implement test strategies, governance frameworks, and QA best practices for ETL and data validation.
• Conduct data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and transformation testing using SQL and automation tools.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners (via Rally), and data governance teams to ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are met.
• Drive compliance with data governance, data quality, and regulatory standards.
• Provide QA leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to QA teams across multiple data projects.
• Manage stakeholder expectations through test plans, dashboards, and progress reporting.
• Partner with DevOps and Automation teams to enhance ETL and data testing automation in AWS/Snowflake environments.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of QA experience, including at least 5 years in a QA lead or delivery role.
• Strong expertise in ETL testing, data profiling, and data warehouse/migration testing.
• Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write advanced queries for large-scale data validation.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS cloud data services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda).
• Working knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or SSIS.
• Experience with Rally/Agile Central for Agile project management and QA tracking.
• Solid understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
• Proven stakeholder management and delivery leadership experience.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to automation frameworks for ETL testing (Python-based or custom DB validation frameworks).
• Knowledge of BI and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
• Experience with data lineage, data cataloging tools, and master data management (MDM).
• Certifications in AWS, Snowflake, or ISTQB/Data Testing.
