About The Role

We are looking for Entry/Junior/Mid level ETL Testers. An ideal candidate should have prior experience working with Unix, ALM, Quality Center, SQL, BI Tools (Informatica/SSIS), Reporting Tools (SSRS/Microstrategy).

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is typically required. Relevant certifications in ETL testing or data warehousing (e.g., ISTQB) may be beneficial.
• Proven experience as an ETL Tester or in a similar role, typically 2-5+ years.
• Hands‑on experience with ETL tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).
• Experience in testing data integration, data migration, and ETL processes in a data warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and SQL querying.
• Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries to validate data transformations and integration.
• Knowledge of data quality concepts, data profiling, and data validation techniques.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks used in ETL testing.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) for automation and validation tasks.
• Understanding of the ETL lifecycle, including extraction of data from various sources, transformation according to business rules, and loading into data warehouses or data marts.
• Knowledge of data modeling and schema design principles.
• Experience in test planning, test case design, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Ability to perform end‑to‑end data validation and reconciliation across different systems.
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous testing.
