Job summary

Baker Concrete Construction, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented General Conditions Estimator to support wastewater treatment and water facilities projects.

You will develop accurate cost, labor, and schedule estimates while coordinating with internal teams and clients to drive growth. Preferred work locations include Cincinnati, OH, Knoxville, TN, Louisville, KY, and Gainesville, FL, with remote or hybrid options within the Eastern/Midwest US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, accounting or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and general software usage.
• Experience with estimating software such as Timberline, UScost or WinEst is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, quantify and price construction elements.
• Enter quantities into pricing software and prepare bid forms.
• Coordinate with Contracts and marketing to ensure standard terms and bid language.
• Develop baseline project duration and man-hour requirements for scheduling.
• Engage vendors to compare pricing and ensure best value for bids.
• Prepare bid proposals, maintain client relationships and track bid status.
