Job summary

Baker Construction is seeking a detail-oriented Civil Estimator to support wastewater treatment plant projects, water reclamation facilities, and related systems. You will develop accurate cost, labor, and schedule estimates while coordinating with internal teams and clients to drive business growth.

Preferred locations include Cincinnati, OH, Knoxville, TN, Louisville, KY, and Gainesville, FL, with remote or hybrid options available within the Eastern/Midwest US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, accounting or related field from an accredited college or university and 3 years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft software programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Estimating software (such as Timberline, UScost, WinEst)

Responsibilities

• Identify and quantify construction elements
• Enter quantities into pricing software
• Provide data for Commence pricing
• Identify insurance requirements in specifications
• Prepare bid forms and proposals
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure best pricing
• Develop client relationships and track bids to award
• Assist in scheduling and project duration estimates
