Job summary

Baker Construction is seeking a detail-oriented Civil Estimator to drive accurate cost and schedule estimates for WWTP, water treatment, and related projects. You will work with internal teams to develop bid packages, analyze vendor capabilities, and support business growth across the Eastern/Midwest US with hybrid remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, accounting or related field and 5 years' related experience; or equivalent
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in estimating software: Timberline, UScost, WinEst

Responsibilities

• Identify and quantify construction elements for pricing
• Enter quantities into pricing software and prepare bid proposals
• Develop baseline job durations and schedules for estimates
• Ensure standard contract language is included in proposals
• Package and send proposals on time and coordinate with Operations
