Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of construction estimating experience, preferably in utility or heavy civil.
• Strong understanding of means, methods, productivity rates and cost structures.
• Proficiency with estimating software, takeoff tools and spreadsheets.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, schedules and contract docs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for utility infrastructure projects.
• Review quantity takeoffs, labor, equipment, material pricing, and quotes.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents for scope capture.
• Evaluate project risks and apply contingencies to estimates.
• Collaborate with operations and project management to align estimates with execution.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field
