Henkels & McCoy West is seeking an Estimator II to prepare bid estimates for medium to large-scale projects within the Power and Utilities market. The successful candidate will possess experience in utility construction practices and bidding for major utilities.

This role is integral in developing competitive cost estimates and requires strong analytical skills and technical knowledge. The salary range is between $80,000 and $120,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in electric utility construction.
• Experience with Investor-Owned Utilities and municipal utilities.
• Strong understanding of utility construction methods and cost estimating principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for transmission and distribution projects.
• Analyze utility bid packages and engineering drawings.
• Develop pricing strategies specific to utility infrastructure projects.
• Lead bid reviews and risk assessments.
