Michels Utility Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to evaluate bid specs and drawings, ensuring complete bid readiness and competitive proposals. You will coordinate with subcontractors and Project Management to close bids and manage budgets, requiring accuracy, strong math skills, and effective communication.

Experience in utility infrastructure projects and a valid driver's license are essential; travel up to 25% is expected across the East Coast region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• 7+ years of related estimating experience.
• Estimating experience in utility industry and/or data center projects.
• Must possess a valid driver license and clean driving record.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate bid specifications and drawings to determine requirements for bidding and project success.
• Follow up with subcontractors to ensure bids are received.
• Collaborate with Project Management teams to follow up on bids and budgets.
• Maintain high accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills; communicate clearly.
