Job summary

Michels Utility Services, Inc. is seeking an Estimator to evaluate bid specifications and drawings, ensuring all requirements are captured to bid and win projects. You will coordinate with subcontractors and Project Management to align bids with budgets and schedules.

Successful candidates will demonstrate accurate, timely work, strong numerical skills, and clear written and oral communication. A valid driver's license and 25% travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• Estimating experience or exposure to the utility industry.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate bid specifications and drawings to prepare accurate bids.
• Follow up with subcontractors to ensure bids are received.
• Collaborate with Project Management to monitor bids and budgets to close the business.
• Produce highly accurate work in a timely manner with strong attention to detail.
