Job summary

Michels Utility Services, Inc. is seeking an Estimator to evaluate bid specifications and drawings, ensuring all requirements are captured to successfully bid and win projects. You will follow up with subcontractors to secure bids and work with Project Management to monitor bids and budgets.

The role requires strong numerical acumen, attention to detail, and effective communication, with 25% travel and a full-time schedule on the East Coast region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• 3-5 years of related estimating experience in utility/construction.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate bid specifications and drawings to identify all requirements for bidding and winning the project.
• Follow up with subcontractors to ensure bids are received and accurate.
• Collaborate with Project Management teams to monitor bids and budgets.
