Flare Construction, LLC, a Quanta Services Company, is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead civil project estimates from takeoff through bid submission. You will price ROW development, sitework for substations, datacenters, and general site development, finalize bid packages, and mentor junior estimators.

Responsibilities include leading price sessions, reviewing bids, and coordinating with subcontractors. A strong background in earthwork, grading, and utility work is essential to drive successful

Formación

• 3–5 years of civil construction estimating experience.
• Experience with heavy civil estimating software and digital takeoff tools.
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans, specs, and geotechnical reports.

Responsabilidades

• Lead estimates in HeavyBid for earthwork, grading, drainage, and site development.
• Perform and verify quantity takeoffs using plan-based calculations.
• Refine production rates and update estimates with closeout data.
• Review and finalize bid packages with assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and qualifications.
• Solicit and negotiate subcontractor and vendor quotes.
• Lead pricing sessions, risk reviews, and post-bid reviews.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to verify field conditions.
• Build cost code structures for clean handoff to project teams.
• Train and mentor estimators and report bid status to leadership.
