Job summary

Greenberry Industrial in Vancouver, WA is seeking an Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive bids for industrial fabrication projects. The role focuses on takeoffs, labor and materials pricing, and coordinating with engineering, procurement, and project teams to meet strict bid deadlines.

You will work on structural steel, modular frames, vessels, and nuclear-related scopes, with exposure to piping and mechanical systems. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive estimating background in structural steel and modular fabrication.
• Experience with nuclear scope estimates a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and estimating software.
• Familiarity with Procore, Autodesk Build, Navisworks, Tekla PowerFab.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate conceptual and detailed cost estimates to bid schedules.
• Takeoffs from drawings and specs for structural steel, modular, vessels, nuclear.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Review vendor and subcontractor quotes for competitiveness.
• Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and field teams.
• Incorporate QA requirements into estimates for nuclear work.
• Ensure bid documents meet contractual requirements.
• Assemble complete bid packages with clarifications and assumptions.
• Maintain organized estimate files for audits.
• Assist pre-bid meetings and post-bid clarifications.
• Contribute to estimating tools and data improvements.
