Job summary

STRUCTURAL in Pompano, Florida seeks an experienced Construction Estimator for self-performed structural and concrete restoration projects across complex builds. The role emphasizes analytical rigor, collaboration, and strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Candidates should thrive under deadlines and lead teams while applying advanced procurement techniques to influence pursuit strategy and project outcomes.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive estimating experience, preferably in self-performed concrete restoration or structural repair.
Experience estimating projects up to $10M+ in value.
Ability to mentor or support junior estimators and manage multiple estimates.

Responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive cost estimates using quantity takeoffs, labor productivity, and pricing data.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor proposals and integrate costs into a complete estimate.
Develop conceptual, budgetary, and final bid estimates from drawings and site conditions.
Create preliminary construction schedules to support pricing accuracy and bid strategy.
Lead bid review meetings and align on pursuit strategy with stakeholders.
Develop proposals with defined scopes, approaches, and inclusions/exclusions.
