Job summary

Structural Group seeks an experienced Construction Estimator for our Pompano Beach, FL team. This role focuses on self-performed structural and concrete restoration work, delivering comprehensive estimates and leading bid strategies. Strong analytical skills, leadership, and client-facing abilities are essential.

You will develop budgets, bid documents, and proposals while coordinating with operations and field teams to ensure successful project handoffs and robust cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of progressive estimating experience with self-performed concrete restoration or specialty contracting.
• Experience estimating projects up to $10M+ and managing multiple estimates.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and estimating software; ability to read drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and price materials and labor for complete project estimates.
• Develop conceptual, budgetary, and final bid estimates with clear scope definitions.
• Create preliminary schedules and sequencing to support pricing and bid strategy.
• Lead bid reviews with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate final submissions.
• Develop proposals with defined scopes, approaches, and inclusions/exclusions.
• Engage with clients and partners to gather feedback and support business development.
• Collaborate with operations, project management, and field teams for smooth handoffs.
