Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a seasoned Estimator to lead the development and validation of cost estimates for complex projects in the Raleigh area. You will coordinate with design professionals, engineers, and supply chain partners to drive accurate budgeting and informed decision-making.

Responsibilities include mentoring junior staff, implementing advanced estimating tools, and advising executives on risk and value engineering strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and validation of comprehensive cost estimates for complex/high-value projects.
• Directs multidisciplinary teams in review of project docs, risk analysis, and constructability assessments to improve estimate quality.
• Develops advanced estimating tools and benchmarking processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Advises leadership on cost strategies, risk mitigation, and value engineering price efforts.
• Negotiates with vendors, subcontractors, and partners for optimal pricing and terms.
• Mentors team members on complex estimating processes and procedures.
