Job summary

Henkels & McCoy is seeking an Estimator II to prepare timely bid estimates for medium to large projects. You will travel to site locations to verify conditions, lead bid strategy discussions, and help manage change orders and procurement while aligning with project management standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include maintaining bid documents, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and meeting deadlines for client presentations.

Qualifications

• Experience with estimating mid-scale projects and advanced knowledge of construction and utility industry practices.
• Experience with computerized bidding software and proficiency in MS Office applications
• Completion of formal PMM training or project management coursework (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain bid documentation and correspondence.
• Travel to job locations to confirm site conditions and requirements.
• Lead bid strategy, and participate in presentations to clients.
• Monitor changes, procurements, credits, and extra work items on awarded contracts.
• Support field personnel in developing change orders and scope adjustments.
• Ensure bid deadlines and client presentation requirements are met.
• Contribute to process improvements and reporting related to planning and scheduling.
