Job summary

Henkels & McCoy is seeking an Estimator II to prepare timely bid estimates for medium to large projects. You will help plan projects, ensuring proper use of personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractors, and you will comply with PMM practices and safety standards.

You will travel to job sites to verify conditions, lead bid strategy and presentations, monitor changes, procure materials, and support change orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in estimating construction projects.
• Proficient with MS Office and computerized bidding software.
• Completion of PMM training or related coursework.
• Complex problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain bid documentation for projects.
• Travel to job sites to verify conditions and gather data.
• Lead bid strategy and client presentations.
• Monitor extra work items and procure materials and credits.
• Assist in recommending change orders to scope as needed.
• Ensure bid deadlines and presentation requirements are met.
