Job summary

DCR Services and Construction, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator / Project Engineer to lead complex preconstruction estimates and support project delivery.

The role spans bid review, buyout, procurement, and cost-control, with potential travel to multiple sites and roles across regions. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in estimating or project engineering for federal, municipal, or commercial work and strong proficiency in Excel and industry software.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressively responsible construction experience in estimating, project engineering or project management.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, contracts, and schedules.
• Proficiency with MS Office and construction estimating software; familiarity with Procore and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates for federal, municipal, and private construction opportunities.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, procurement, cost reporting, and change management.
• Prepare turnover packages and ensure traceability of pricing and scope.
• Maintain organized estimate files and documentation.
• Support post-award project engineering and closeout activities.
