Job summary

Hedrick Brothers Construction Co. in Florida seeks a Senior Estimator to lead cost estimation from concept through construction documents.

You will work with the Chief Estimator and Director of Preconstruction to price complex projects, develop budgets, and drive competitive bids across hospitality, multi-family, industrial, and healthcare sectors. Applicants should have 7+ years in commercial construction estimating, strong knowledge of CSI divisions, and proficiency with Estimating tools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Experience across multiple design stages (Concept through Construction Documents).
• Extensive estimating experience in wood-frame multifamily construction (garden-style to mid-rise).
• Experience leading preconstruction efforts on large, complex projects with limited oversight.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and CSI divisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates across all design stages (Conceptual to Construction Documents).
• Build conceptual budgets from limited information using historical cost data.
• Perform quantity take-offs of construction documents across trades.
