Energy Jobline ZR in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction on commercial and residential projects. You will drive budgeting, bid proposals, and pricing with cross-functional teams to win pursuits.

The role requires 5–7 years of estimating experience, strong knowledge of construction methods, and proficiency in multiple estimating tools. On-site position with a downtown office and parking.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience as a Construction Estimator in commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and best practices.
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills for working with suppliers and contractors.
• Ability to handle multiple bids and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Mansioni

• Review blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Develop budgets and bid proposals based on scope and market conditions.
• Analyze historical data, subcontractor quotes, and material costs to optimize pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to refine cost estimates.
• Identify and assess potential project risks and adjust estimates accordingly.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for competitive pricing.
• Track cost trends, market fluctuations, and industry standards to improve estimate accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and contract specifications.
• Use estimating software (Bluebeam, ProEst, RSMeans, PlanSwift, Procore) for calculations and proposals.
