Job summary

Dome Construction Corporation in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Preconstruction team, leading preconstruction efforts on complex commercial projects. You will review sketches, prepare full proposals, and collaborate with clients and trade partners to set projects up for success.

You will mentor teammates, work with our operations group to ensure smooth handoffs into construction, and develop complete estimates and budgets for Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Tenant

Qualifications

5+ years of construction industry experience.
2+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
Strong understanding of means, methods, materials, and sequencing.
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Lead preconstruction efforts on projects across Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Tenant Improvements.
Review early sketches and develop complete project estimates and budgets.
Solicit subcontractor bids and analyze proposals for scope and completeness.
Prepare final estimate packages and client Presentations.
Mentor team members and coordinate turnover with operations.
