Dome Construction is seeking an experienced Estimator for our Preconstruction team in Southern California. You will lead preconstruction efforts on complex commercial projects, coordinating with clients and trade partners to prepare competitive proposals and ensure a smooth handoff to construction.

You will review design documents, identify information gaps and risks, and collaborate with project teams to shape schedules and logistics.

Qualificações

• 3–5+ years of experience in estimating or preconstruction for commercial construction.
• Strong ability to read and interpret design documents and specifications.
• Experience working directly with clients and presenting estimates.
• Ability to juggle multiple estimates in different stages.
• Familiarity with tools like MS Project, On‑Screen Takeoff, and estimating software.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem‑solving.
• A mindset focused on solutions, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Estimator – Dome Construction

We're currently looking for an experienced Estimator to join our Preconstruction team. This role plays a key part in setting projects up for success from day one. What You'll Be Doing

As an Estimator, you'll lead preconstruction efforts on a variety of exciting projects across sectors like Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Tenant Improvements. You'll be the go-to for all things estimating — from reviewing early sketches to submitting full proposals and working directly with clients and trade partners. You'll also help mentor team members and work closely with our operations team to ensure a smooth handoff into construction.

Pay dependent of experience, skill, knowledge

Southern California Pay Range

$92,000—$145,000 USD

The job duties for this position [will/may] entail assignment at a customer worksite where the customer has a requirement that all Dome's personnel must be vaccinated to enter the worksite, and the customer's policy has no exemptions. While Dome must operate within the customer's worksite requirements, Dome will provide reasonable accommodations to employees who cannot be vaccinated because of a disability/medical reason or sincerely‑held religious beliefs.
