Foster Lawson is seeking a Senior Estimator for upcoming projects in North Carolina. The role involves preparing detailed material and equipment takeoffs, reviewing drawings and contract documents, and contributing to cost forecasts and schedules.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years of estimating/field experience, strong drawing interpretation, and proficiency with Primavera scheduling and COINS cost forecasting, plus Word/Excel and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Prepare detailed material and equipment takeoffs to support accurate cost estimates, budgets, and purchase orders.
• Review drawings, specs, and contract documents to ensure estimates align with project scope.
• Develop schedules, safety plans, equipment utilization, and manpower forecasts in preconstruction.
• Track budgeted vs actual costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Requires 4–8 years of estimating/field experience and proficiency with Primavera scheduling and COINS; Word/Excel; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed takeoffs to support accurate cost estimates and budgets.

• Forecast costs monthly and track budgeted vs actuals.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors for pricing.
