Foster Lawson is seeking a Senior Estimator for upcoming projects in North Carolina. The role involves preparing detailed material and equipment takeoffs, reviewing drawings and contract documents, and contributing to cost forecasts and schedules.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years of estimating/field experience, strong drawing interpretation, and proficiency with Primavera scheduling and COINS cost forecasting, plus Word/Excel and a valid driver's license.

• Reviews drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure estimates align with project scope and site-specific requirements
• Develops and contributes to overall project schedules, safety plans, equipment utilization plans, and manpower forecasts during preconstruction
• Tracks budgeted vs. actual costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, and helps forecast project costs monthly
• Communicates with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to gather pricing and scope information for estimates
• Applies quality and safety standards knowledge to ensure estimates reflect realistic execution requirements
• Requires 4-8 years of relevant estimating/field experience, strong drawing interpretation skills, proficiency with Primavera scheduling and COINS cost-forecasting software, Word/Excel skills, and a valid driver's license
