Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct work experience in an estimating capacity.
• Thorough knowledge of estimating techniques.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, geotechnical information, specs and scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and implement estimating processes.
• Assist the Estimating Manager in coordination of corporate estimating functions.
• Review specs, drawings, and labor/material requirements; prepare itemized estimates and attend pre-bid meetings.
• Write detailed scopes of work and price labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Interface with Owners/Architects/Engineers for price quotes and value engineering.
• Maintain knowledge of estimating software and bid creation tools.
• Visit current sites when feasible to understand production means and methods.
• Support business development and industry events.
• Provide estimating support for change orders as needed.
