Job summary

ComNet Communications LLC is seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates for projects valued from $500,000 to $1,000,000 with a broader revenue footprint of over $2 million annually. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years field experience in a lead role and some industry certifications.
• 6+ years’ experience as a PM or Estimator developing cost estimates.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD software.
• Sound knowledge of engineering design principles.
• Good numeracy and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communications skills.
• Knowledge of material properties.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Attend bid meetings and site surveys.
• Review RFPs to understand scope of work to bid.
• Review estimates and revisions for completeness and accuracy.
• Execute take-offs of documents.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and distributors for pricing.
• Determine labor capabilities and rates, equipment and other needs with management.
• Handoffs with team upon project award.
• Prepare change order pricing for ongoing work.
• Train and direct estimators.
• Other duties as assigned.
