Job summary

Manatal is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Estimator to support commercial projects involving structured cabling, security, and A/V systems. You will be responsible for analyzing project drawings, performing takeoffs, and developing accurate project cost estimates.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of estimating experience, proficiency with tools like Excel and Bluebeam, and will collaborate with teams and vendors to prepare competitive bids.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial or industrial environments.
• Experience with low voltage systems, structured cabling, security systems, and A/V installations.
• Proficiency with estimating tools such as Excel, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and design documents to determine scope of work.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare bids and proposals, submit RFIs, and verify project costs.
• Coordinate with clients, general contractors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate existing conditions.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing.
• Assist with change order evaluations.
